Josh sits down with Switch Designs founder James Poss. Switch Designs is a brand dedicated to innovating the outdoor luggage and bag space, specifically with their one of a kind boot bag. It’s a rare thing indeed to get excited about boot bags but, wish Switch’s one-of-a-kind (and we really mean there’s never been anything like it) your bag can transform into a backpack to a tote with an extremely and effortlessly simple buckle system. Poss is a long time skier and self-taught design, his first design being a pair of gloves that ended up on top-level skiers. Though that first pair of gloves was merely a high school project, that was enough to stoke passion within him to follow through with building his experience. The inspiration for reinventing the everyday ski bag was simple: He found it ridiculous that no one has designed a updated boot bag since boots are an absolute necessity. From there it was just rolling up his sleeves, getting to work, and after a long prototyping phase Poss and the rest of the Switch Designs team came up with a significantly more flexible and functional bag that looks incredible.

Josh sits down with Cor Surf founder Andy Gosset. Cor Surf is a brand making surf and paddleboard accessories for the core surfer, including board racks, bike trailers, and bags and backpacks. Cor Surf got its humble beginnings when Gosset made a surfboard rack as a better way to store his board. It wasn’t long before he started getting some seriously positive feedback on his rack that he began Cor Surf and launched his first product. Since that first rack Cor Surf has created a ton of other often overlooked accessories to make it way easier to store and transport Surf and SUP boards. Join us as we get a closer look at Cor Surf from the very voice of its founder.

Josh sits down with Evolved Motion founder Emily Schromm. Evolved Motion makes carry goods with an emphasis on fitness, specifically, their EmPack a backpack that transforms into fitness gear. By filling up two water reservoirs you can use the pack as a kettlebell, barbell, or dumbbell. The idea for the EmPack was conceived while Schromm was on the road and was looking for a simple alternative to going to the lackluster gym in the hotel she was staying at. Her solution? Stuffing everything she could into her suitcase thus turning it into a jerry-rigged kettlebell thus, creating the unofficial first prototype of the EmPack. With such a functional, stylish, and straightforward solution to fitness on the go, it’s no surprise that Evolved Motion’s first Kickstarter was a success.

Josh sits down with Drew & Matt and reflect on 2018 and talk about some big things in the pipeline for 2019. Tune in as the ReddyYeti gang discusses what we’ll be doing over the next couple months in Vermont and the complete facelift of the ReddyYeti membership program. It’s been a wild ride this past year and we’re extremely psyched to see the metamorphosis that ReddyYeti has gone through.

Josh sits down with Outdoor Vitals founder Tayson Whittaker. Outdoor Vitals is a company making premium ultralight backpacking gear with the goal of becoming the next great gear company for the next generation. In a lot of different ways, buying one product is better than two; and buying one ultra light product that will outlive and performs other products is a home run. That is Outdoor Vitals philosophy and, although Outdoor Vitals is a young company, Whittaker’s passion for entrepreneurship and the outdoors have lit a fire to build a company like Outdoor Vitals long before it’s launch. With all that in mind, it’s not quite surprising to hear that he launched Outdoor Vitals so quickly after graduating college, and even less surprising at how quickly they’ve grown. We’re thrilled to join Whittaker as he takes a long the journey of Outdoor Vitals beginnings to where things are headed with this outdoor powerhouse into the future.
