This podcast episode was originally recorded on Dec 31st, 2018. Since Outdoor Vitals is a part of our current giveaway we wanted to bring this episode back from the archives. We've cleaned up the audio a bit and hope that you enjoy the episode with founder Tayson Whittaker talking about his journey in building Outdoor Vitals.

Josh sits down with Outdoor Vitals founder Tayson Whittaker. Outdoor Vitals is a company making premium ultralight backpacking gear with the goal of becoming the next great gear company for the next generation. In a lot of different ways, buying one product is better than two; and buying one ultra light product that will outlive and performs other products is a home run. That is Outdoor Vitals philosophy and, although Outdoor Vitals is a young company, Whittaker’s passion for entrepreneurship and the outdoors have lit a fire to build a company like Outdoor Vitals long before it’s launch. With all that in mind, it’s not quite surprising to hear that he launched Outdoor Vitals so quickly after graduating college, and even less surprising at how quickly they’ve grown. We’re thrilled to join Whittaker as he takes a long the journey of Outdoor Vitals beginnings to where things are headed with this outdoor powerhouse into the future.

Josh sits down with Loctote & Litelok founders Don Halpern (Loctote) and Neil Barron (Litelok). This week’s episode features two brands; Loctote makes extremely secure bags with a built in lock and Litelok makes premium lightweight bike locks. In the wake of success, Loctote reached out to Litelok to create a partnership to break into the North American market. While each brand has a unique story and in the wake of a global economy interrupted, it seems these two brands are adapting. After all, a rising tide raises all ships.

Josh sits down with The Nue Co. co-founder Charlie Gower. The Nue Co. makes supplements that bridges alternative medicine and proven scientifically backed ingredients. Charlie and his wife and cofounder Jules, began Nue Co. to help improve people’s health whether that’s the health of their gut, skin or sleep. After getting fed up with mediocre synthetic products, he and his wife started to take matters into their own hands to deliver products that will help and heal people with ingredients that won’t harm the earth.
