Matt sits down with Path Project founder Scott Bailey. Path Projects is a specialty running brand making innovative running with a simple, sleek, aesthetic, and an emphasis on functionality. The idea of Path Projects, his newest endeavor, came from him wanting running shorts to fit what he was looking for but not being thrilled with the options on the market. With over 30 years of experience in the apparel industry, he’s perfectly equipped to build a better pair of shorts, so that’s exactly what he did and after launching in 2018, Path Projects has been growing rampantly. In this episode, Scott dives into the challenges and advantages of using the Direct to consumer model, how COVID has helped get people outside, and how he took his prior experience and used it to build a brand making products that people love and will have customers keep coming back more.

This podcast episode was originally recorded on October 22nd, 2018. We wanted to bring this episode back from the archives because we thought it fit in nicely with our current Adventure Photography & Camping themed giveaway. We've cleaned up the audio a bit and hope that you enjoy the episode with founder James Collie talking about how and why he started ICEMULE.

Josh sits down with ICEMULE founder James Collie. Wouldn’t it be nice to enjoy a cold beverage on the go without having to lug around a bulky backpack? Of course, it would, and fortunately enough that’s EXACTLY the problem ICEMULE is solving delivering soft-sided coolers. These super functional coolers are modeled after a dry bag and a backpack ensuring a tight, secure seal while adding the convenience of being able to carry everything on your back. Additionally, these cooler bags are collapsible and much more versatile than your average cooler making it a way more convenient option for food and beverage storage when you’re on the go! We are thrilled to get a chance to sit down with ICEMULE founder James Collie to dive deeper into the inspiration of this game-changing cooler and get a better glimpse at where ICEMULE is headed into the future!

Josh sits down with Fossil Outdoors founder Everett Jesse. Outdoor brand solving common pain points in the outdoor industry as environmentally sustainably as possible. Outdoor Fossil’s start was nudged by fate's hand. Everett’s journey into the outdoors started years ago with a serious health issue. After searching for better answers he found exercise and a healthy lifestyle was his best bet at helping him heal and what started off as walks outside turned into hiking, then biking, then mountain biking. As outdoor enthusiasts, we’ve all run into our own fair share of frustrations and roadblocks from gear. However, when faced with these problems, Everett rolled up his sleeves and got to work; creating a product for an issue that’s never really been solved before.
